REFLX Lab 400D is a unique ISO 400 daylight-balanced 35mm color negative film made from Kodak Vision3 motion picture film with the rem-jet layer removed, allowing it to be processed in standard C-41 chemistry.
This gives the film a distinct cinematic look compared to traditional still photography stocks. Expect rich contrast, natural but slightly warm color tones, noticeable grain, and occasional halation around bright highlights. It performs especially well in daylight and golden hour, making it a strong choice for street photography, travel, and outdoor shooting.
Because it originates from motion picture film, 400D has more exposure latitude than typical consumer films and can handle varied lighting conditions well when shot at box speed or slightly overexposed.
