CobbleStore is a vintage clothing and film camera shop based in Richmond, VA. We focus on a curated selection of vintage apparel, tested film cameras, and 35mm/120 film.
We’re not always actively hiring, but we’re always open to meeting the right people.

What to Expect
Working at CobbleStore is hands-on and fast-paced, especially on weekends. This is a small, independently run shop, so everyone plays a role in keeping things running smoothly.
Some positions are more customer-facing, while others are more focused on behind-the-scenes operations, product workflow, and keeping inventory moving efficiently from intake to the sales floor or website.
Typical responsibilities may include:

Helping customers find clothing and cameras that fit their needs

Explaining vintage pricing, sizing, and condition

Assisting customers with film cameras and basic recommendations

Running the register and handling cash/card transactions

Packing and shipping online orders

Keeping the store clean, organized, and merchandised

Restocking and maintaining displays

Supporting product preparation and overall store workflow

Occasionally helping with basic social media content
What We Look For

Interested in vintage, cameras, or small business retail
Experience in retail, vintage clothing, photography, ecommerce, or product-based work is a plus, but not required.
Schedule & Availability
Our busiest days are Friday through Sunday, and weekend availability is typically required for customer-facing positions.
Store hours:

Wednesday–Thursday: 12–5

Friday–Saturday: 11–6

We are currently closed Monday and Tuesday.
Schedules can vary depending on the role, but we prioritize consistency, reliability, and clear availability.
Important Notes Before Applying

This is a hands-on retail environment, and some roles are customer-facing throughout the day

Other positions may be more focused on product handling, organization, and operational workflow

You will be expected to learn and retain product knowledge over time

Attention to detail is critical, as mistakes in orders, transactions, inventory, or listings directly impact the business and customer experience
