Vintage 1976 CAT Diesel Power belt buckle featuring a large raised CAT logo with “Diesel Power” lettering underneath. Heavy rectangular metal construction with a dark antiqued brass/bronze-tone finish and a classic industrial workwear look.
The reverse is marked “Caterpillar and CAT are trademarks of Caterpillar Tractor Co. © 1976 Sales Guides Inc. Mequon, Wis.” Manufactured by Sales Guides Inc. as officially licensed Caterpillar merchandise, making this a great piece of 1970s CAT advertising and heavy-equipment memorabilia.
Measures approximately 3.25” wide x 2.25” tall.
Good vintage condition with substantial natural surface wear, scratches, finish loss, discoloration and patina throughout from age and use. Belt loop and hook remain present on the reverse.
