Authentic 1983 Finnish Army M62 reversible camouflage cargo pants, featuring the distinctive Finnish M/62 camouflage pattern in olive green, brown, and tan. Introduced in 1962, the M62 system was Finland’s first purpose-built camouflage uniform and remained in service throughout the Cold War before later M91 patterns replaced it.
These trousers are fully reversible, allowing soldiers to flip the pants depending on terrain or seasonal conditions. One side features the classic woodland camouflage while the reverse shows the lighter subdued side used for winter or low-visibility environments. This reversible design was a key feature of the Finnish M62 uniform system.
The interior stamp reads “Reima 854 83”, indicating production by Reima, a Finnish manufacturer that produced military garments for the Finnish Defence Forces. The “83” denotes a 1983 production year, placing these squarely in the Cold War era of Finnish military issue.
