Vintage late 1990’s Kodak Select Series Black & White + 400 35mm film. Discontinued ISO 400 chromogenic black-and-white negative film with 24 exposures and designed for standard C-41 processing.
Kodak introduced Black & White + 400 in December 1998 as a new addition to its Select Series. Kodak described the film as a chromogenic black-and-white stock combining the look of traditional black-and-white photography with the convenience of ordinary color-negative processing. (device.report)
Unlike conventional black-and-white films such as Tri-X or T-Max, Kodak Black & White + 400 uses dye-forming chromogenic technology and must be processed in C-41 chemistry. Kodak specifically stated that it should not be processed in conventional black-and-white chemistry. (125px)
