A pair of Levi’s Vintage Clothing (LVC) Lot 37501 jeans, based on the historic 1937 501XX model and made in Japan. Levi’s Vintage Clothing reproduces archival Levi’s pieces using period-correct construction and premium selvedge denim, and the 37501 model recreates the transition-era 1937 501 that introduced the red tab while retaining pre-war construction details.
These jeans are made from redline selvedge denim and feature a button fly and classic LVC stitching and construction. The interior tag shows Lot 37501 and Made in Japan, consistent with early 2000s LVC production (likely circa 2003).
This pair shows strong natural wear and fading throughout, giving them a well-broken-in vintage look.
Several original details have been removed by a previous owner, which is common on worn Levi’s and vintage repro denim:
• Original buckle-back hardware removed (strap tabs remain)
• Back pocket arcuate stitching removed
• Back leather patch removed
Despite these changes, the jeans remain a solid pair of Japanese-made LVC selvedge denim with great fade character.
