Vintage 1970's knit beanie in bright yellow and burnt orange with bold black lettering on each side. One side reads Slippery When Wet and the other reads Soft Shoulders, a playful twist on classic roadside warnings that became popular novelty phrases throughout the 70s and 80s. Finished with a matching orange pom on top and a thick foldover cuff for warmth.
A true vintage handmade-style piece with great character and a sense of humor. Soft, stretchy knit. Unlined interior.
Condition:
Good vintage wear throughout with minor fuzzing and a few loose threads, especially near the lettering on the Soft Shoulders side. No major holes. Priced accordingly.
