Doc Otis Hard Lemon was a flavored malt beverage / alcoholic lemonade brand, part of the wave of bottled “hard lemonade” and alternative malt beverages that became popular during the 1990s. This appears to be a period promotional advertising piece made for the brand rather than a standard fashion hat.
Black cotton-style six-panel construction with a curved bill and adjustable fabric strapback with an antiqued brass-tone buckle. Made by Capstone and marked Made in China.
One size fits most with adjustable strapback closure.
Good vintage condition with substantial natural fading throughout the black fabric, giving it a nicely worn charcoal/black appearance. General surface wear, lint and light marks from age and use. Interior sweatband shows wear and some fraying, particularly toward the rear. Front embroidered graphic remains bright and well defined. Strap and metal buckle are intact.
