The Kodak Snapic A1 is a brand new, newly manufactured 35mm film camera designed to make film photography easy and approachable. This is not a vintage or refurbished camera. It is a current production model released by Reto Production under license from Kodak, built specifically for modern film shooters and first-time users.
The Snapic A1 uses standard 35mm film and produces full-frame 36mm x 24mm negatives, the same format used by classic film cameras. Each photo is captured on real photographic film rather than a digital sensor, giving images the timeless look and feel that film is known for.
A 25mm 3-element glass lens delivers sharp, clear images with a wide field of view that works well for everyday photography, including travel, street scenes, landscapes, and group shots. Exposure is kept simple with a fixed f/9.5 aperture and 1/100 second shutter speed, allowing beginners to focus on composition instead of settings.
Film handling is fully automatic with auto loading, advance, and rewind, removing much of the learning curve commonly associated with film cameras. A manual two-zone focus system lets you switch between close-up and distance shooting, using deep depth of field to keep images sharp without manual focusing.
The built-in flash features auto flash and red-eye reduction for indoor and low-light situations. An OLED top display shows helpful information such as remaining frames and camera status. For creative shooting, the Snapic A1 also includes a built-in double exposure mode, allowing two images to be layered onto a single frame directly in camera.
Lightweight, compact, and powered by two AAA batteries, the Snapic A1 is an easy everyday carry film camera.
