Tested and fully working Canon AF35ML (also known as the Autoboy Super), one of Canon's most sought-after early autofocus compact cameras. Released in 1981, the AF35ML features a fast 40mm f/1.9 glass lens that performs exceptionally well in low light and produces beautiful, sharp images with excellent background separation.
The camera has been fully tested, including autofocus, shutter, film advance, film rewind, self-timer, and flash operation.
Please note the flash requires a small assist to pop up when activated. Once manually lifted, it charges and fires normally. I am also still evaluating the manual ISO adjustment dial, which currently appears to be set at ISO 200. I have not yet determined whether it is simply user error or if the dial is sticking, so it is being sold with that noted.
