Authentic 1987 Marlboro Western belt buckle cast in solid brass and featuring a dimensional longhorn steer against a large Western star. Raised Marlboro lettering spans the top, while a fine twisted-rope border frames the oval buckle.
The back is factory stamped “SOLID BRASS © PHILIP MORRIS, INC. 1987,” confirming both the material and year. Produced during the height of Marlboro’s “Marlboro Country” cowboy advertising era, this buckle combines classic 1980s cigarette promotional memorabilia with ranch, rodeo, and Western Americana styling.
This example has a particularly dark, naturally aged finish with brass showing through across the raised lettering, horns, steer, and other high points. Patina, tarnishing, oxidation, scratches, scuffs, and general surface wear are present throughout, giving it a well-worn vintage appearance. Rear belt loop and prong are intact. Unpolished and sold with its original aged finish.
