Vintage 1990 Bad Bob “A Message From God” T-shirt featuring an early Screaming Man graphic by artist and cartoonist Robert “BadBob” Therrien Jr.
Large front graphic depicts three winged Screaming Man figures holding books marked “HOLY,” with “Get off your ass!” across the top and “A MESSAGE FROM GOD” along the bottom. Artwork is signed BADBOB and dated 1990.
BadBob’s Screaming Man originated in Therrien’s underground / alternative cartoon work and became his signature character, appearing on T-shirts, prints, and other merchandise throughout the late 1980s and 1990s. Great piece of obscure early 90s outsider / underground comic art with an especially strong oversized black-and-white graphic.
Faded black cotton T-shirt with single-stitch sleeves and hem. Original tag has been cut and only a small portion remains.
