Released in 1991, the Minolta Freedom Vista is a dedicated panoramic 35mm point-and-shoot camera, also sold as the Minolta P’s in Japan and the Riva Panorama in other markets. It uses a wide 24mm f/4.5 coated glass lens and permanently installed internal masks to expose a narrow panoramic image measuring approximately 12.2mm high on standard 35mm film. This camera has been tested and is working properly. The shutter fires, autofocus responds, flash works, and the motorized film advance and rewind operate as intended. A battery is included, so it is ready for a roll of standard 35mm film.
