Vintage Turkish-style brass slipper ashtray featuring an ornate pointed-toe design decorated with turquoise-blue and red cabochon embellishments. Inspired by traditional Ottoman-style footwear, these decorative shoe ashtrays were popular mid-century souvenirs and are also commonly used as trinket dishes or small catchalls.
Features a gold-tone metal body with rows of turquoise-colored cabochons set in silver-tone trim, larger red accents along both sides, and a prominent turquoise-colored centerpiece surrounded by twisted rope detailing. The pointed toe is finished with a cream-colored faux pearl ornament.
Estimated 1960s–1970s production. Exact manufacturer and country of origin are unconfirmed. Decorative stones have not been verified as natural gemstones.
Measures approximately 5 inches long.
Pre-owned vintage condition with visible scratches, scuffs, tarnishing, oxidation, and discoloration throughout. Notable peeling and loss of the decorative finish near the pointed toe, exposing the underlying metal. The faux pearl tip shows surface wear and discoloration. Interior and underside exhibit additional age-related patina. Please refer to photos for exact condition.
