Kodak introduced BW400CN in the early 2000s as a professional chromogenic black-and-white film, replacing earlier Kodak C-41 black-and-white stocks. Unlike traditional black-and-white films such as Tri-X and T-Max, BW400CN forms its image with dyes and can be developed using the same C-41 chemistry as standard color negative film. (125px)
