Released in 2002, the Aiptek Mega Cam is a compact, early digital camera known for its unique vertical "pen-style" design and fixed 9.8mm f/3.0 lens. This quirky lo-fi digicam captures ultra-low-res digital images with a distinctly retro aesthetic, perfect for Y2K-era tech collectors and digital minimalists.
Tested and working — powers on, takes photos, and displays image count on the LCD screen. Runs on two AAA batteries (included). Comes with the original neck strap and USB cable.
⚠️ Important Note on Image Transfer:
Modern macOS and Windows systems will not recognize this camera. To retrieve your photos, you’ll need to use a Windows XP virtual machine via VirtualBox (free software) or access an old PC with the proper drivers. This is a common workaround for early 2000s USB-only digital cameras that relied on discontinued software.
