Tested Kodak EasyShare Z740 from 2005, a classic long-zoom “bridge” camera with a strong 10x optical Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon lens and Kodak’s vibrant early-digital color science. Camera powers on, takes photos, zooms smoothly, and saves images without issue. LCD and EVF both function properly.
The Z740 uses standard AA batteries—a fresh set is included—and comes with a 256MB SD card to get you started.

Condition:
Fully functional with typical cosmetic wear from age. Body shows light scuffs, small dings, and surface marks, consistent with normal use. Lens glass is clean and the zoom mechanism is smooth. LCD displays clearly, buttons respond properly, and EVF is operational. The memory card door latch is broken, so it swings open freely, but does not affect the performance, and the camera strap tends to keep the door closed.
Battery compartment is clean. SD card slot opens/closes as intended. Camera includes its Kodak lens cap.
