Vintage Agfa Ansco B-2 Cadet box camera produced in the early to mid 1930s by Agfa-Ansco Corporation in Binghamton, New York. This American-made box camera features a fixed lens, rotary shutter, dual brilliant viewfinders for portrait and landscape orientation, and a textured black body with original leather carry strap stamped “B-2 Cadet.”
This camera is untested and is being sold as-is. No testing has been performed on shutter operation, film advance, or light tightness. Overall functionality is unknown.
Cosmetic wear is present throughout, including surface wear, scuffs, oxidation to metal components, and patina consistent with age and long-term storage. The leather strap shows cracking, dryness, and wear. Interior components show visible age and have not been fully evaluated.
Originally designed for B-2 / 120 roll film. Due to its age and unknown mechanical condition, this camera is best suited for parts, repair, restoration, or display. A solid example of a pre-war Agfa Ansco box camera with strong historical and decorative appeal.
