Vintage late 1970’s to early 1980’s Cheap Joe’s / Texas Jeans promotional long sleeve T-shirt featuring a great piece of early American denim retail history.
Front features the slogan “Everybody needs some” alongside the vintage Texas Jeans belt-logo graphic. Back has a large “Cheap Joe’s Famous Stores” logo in matching navy blue.
Cheap Joe’s was a jeans and T-shirt retailer operating during this era, and surviving trademark records connect the Cheap Joe’s name with the Texas-branded jeans business. The exact production year of this shirt is unknown, but the graphics, construction, and vintage AdTees Corporation label are consistent with a late-1970’s/early-1980’s date.
Printed on a vintage AdTees Corporation 100% combed, pre-shrunk cotton blank, made in the USA. Features lightweight vintage cotton construction, ribbed crewneck, long sleeves, and extended ribbed cuffs.
The shirt has developed a heavily aged cream/tan appearance with substantial fading and discoloration throughout, giving it a particularly strong worn-in vintage look. Dark navy blue graphics are printed on both sides.

Condition: Heavily worn vintage condition with substantial age-related fading and discoloration throughout. Scattered small spots and marks are present.
