Harman Phoenix 200 is a unique experimental color negative 35mm film with bold contrast, punchy color shifts, strong visible grain, and an unpredictable analog look. As Harman’s first color film, Phoenix quickly built a cult following for its gritty, imperfect, and highly characterful results.
This is the original Harman Phoenix I formula, which Harman has unofficially-officially discontinued. While it sounds like there is still a lot of demand for this version and Harman could potentially revisit it in the future, these rolls are currently no longer being made.
Expect a warm, vintage-inspired look with deep shadows, vibrant reds/oranges, halation-like glow, and plenty of experimental charm. Best for photographers who enjoy imperfect, creative results rather than ultra-clean, true-to-life color.
