Phoenix 125 is currently available for preorder. There is no preorder quantity limit, so feel free to order as many rolls as you would like.
We do not yet have a guaranteed in-hand date. Our current information points toward mid-September 2026, although we are hopeful that stock may arrive sooner. All preorder quantities will ship or become available for pickup once our inventory arrives.
HARMAN Phoenix is the original experimental color negative film that launched HARMAN’s color film journey in 2023. Made entirely at HARMAN’s factory in Mobberley, UK, Phoenix quickly developed a following for its bold contrast, strong visible grain, unusual color reproduction, glowing highlights, and distinctly unpredictable analog character.
Originally released as Phoenix 200, this first-generation emulsion was eventually replaced by the completely redesigned Phoenix II. But Phoenix I developed a dedicated following of its own, and HARMAN has listened to photographers who wanted the original look to stick around.
Phoenix I is now returning as HARMAN Phoenix 125.
The revived version retains the character of the original Phoenix while HARMAN has tweaked the formulation and officially adjusted its speed to ISO 125, reflecting how many photographers preferred to expose the original film. The new production is DX-coded at ISO 125 and features redesigned packaging, along with a new SKU and UPC.
Expect the unmistakable Phoenix I aesthetic: bold and unconventional color, pronounced grain, strong contrast, deep shadows, warm reds and oranges, glowing highlights, and results that can vary dramatically depending on exposure, lighting, and scanning. This is intentionally not a clean or perfectly neutral color film. Phoenix is made for photographers who enjoy experimentation, imperfection, and the surprises that make analog photography interesting.

About Phoenix 200 vs. Phoenix 125:
The original Phoenix I was sold as ISO 200 film. HARMAN has now adjusted the official speed to ISO 125 after feedback from the film community and has slightly tweaked the formulation. Phoenix 125 should therefore be considered the continuation/evolution of the original Phoenix I rather than Phoenix II.
Phoenix II remains a separate second-generation formulation with different dyes, couplers, layer construction, color rendering, grain, contrast, and exposure characteristics.
